Dr Emma qualified as a dentist from The University of Bristol in 2013. After graduation and completion of her vocational training she returned to her home town of Bridgend to practice dentistry.
Dr Emma began developing her clinical skills with NHS work in general practice and quickly realised she had a passion to give the best care and comfort to her patients. She believes in only recommending treatment which is absolutely necessary and, in the patients’, best interests and prides herself in offering the level of service she would like to receive.
As her experience progressed, she advanced to mixed NHS and private dentistry and has developed a passion for cosmetic dentistry. She excels in helping patients who want to improve their smiles. She has a friendly and understanding approach towards her patients. Dr Emma strongly believes in preventative and minimally invasive dentistry.
Over the years. Dr Emma has attended many restorative and cosmetic dental courses to widen her skill set and she enjoys providing Invisalign and composite bonding treatments. She is also professionally trained in advanced wrinkle correction and dermal filler procedures and has trained under the world-renowned Prof Bob Khanna. Dr Emma enjoys using anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers to provide her patients with beautiful and natural looking results.
Dr Emma is committed to continuing her dental education; she will shortly continue her diploma in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry with the award-winning Dr Monik Vasant. Additionally, Dr Emma will be furthering her training in dermal fillers to offer more advanced procedures.
Outside of work Dr Emma enjoys long walks with her husband Rhys and their dog Spennie along the local beach in Ogmore where they plan their next travelling adventures.
